Hailing from Dharawal Country Thirroul and 5 years later living her best life on Bundajlung Country she has become a driving force in the Northern NSW electronic music scene, leaving an indelible mark with her signature sound and unforgettable sets.
As an uprising artist in the Australian music industry SophDexx has played at events such as Rabbits Eat Lettuce, Splendour in the Grass, Bohemian Beatfreaks, Initiation Festival and Earth Frequency Festival. SophDexx’s versatility in dance music has led to support slots for popular Australian artists such as Peking Duk, Terrence and Phillip, Odd Mob, Sammy the Sinner, Bag Raiders, and The Aston Shuffle. She has also had the privilege of supporting many international artists and labels, including Born on Road (UK), Phibes (UK), Culture Shock (UK), Ed Solo (UK) and Gene Farris (USA).
Beyond her DJing and production endeavors, SophDexx is actively engaged in the music community. She is a resident of the “Clitoverse,” a collective based in Bellingen, NSW, focused on empowering and promoting women in the music industry. Additionally, she is a resident of “Byron DnB,” further demonstrating her commitment to the local electronic music scene.
